Carlo Gavazzi can boast a vast energy meter range designed to accurately measure energy consumption. The EM100 and EM500 series can be seen at this year’s Smart Building Show on stand No D1. The exhibition takes place in London’s Excel from 12-13th October 2022.
Carlo Gavazzi’s popular family of easy-to-install DIN or panel mount, single and three phase energy meters for both MID and non-MID applications offer direct connect or CT connection and a full range of communication protocols such as pulse, Modbus RS485 RTU and MBus.
The EM500 series provides precision accuracy for measuring of imported and exported energy class 0.5S for EM530 and class 1 for the EM540. The EM540 is frequently used in low-voltage switchboards with a rated current up to 65 A (direct connection) whilst the EM530 can be installed in systems with a rated current up to 10 kA (via 5A current transformer) to monitor the energy consumption, main electrical variables and harmonic distortion.
The EM110 is a single-phase energy meter with 6+1 digit electro-mechanical data display; suited to active energy metering and cost allocation in applications up to 45 A (direct connection), single tariff, class 1 energy meter perfect for when reading is still necessary during power down. The meter is provided with pulse output proportional to the active energy being measured and is only 1 DIN wide.
EM111 and EM112 energy analysers offer outstanding ease of use and performance as single-phase energy meters providing backlit LCD display and integrated touch keypad. Both are suited to active energy metering and cost allocation in applications up to 45 A for EM111 and up to 100A for EM112 (direct connection), with dual tariff management availability. Measuring kWh and kvarh imported and exported energy. The meter is optionally provided with pulse output, RS485 Modbus port or M-bus port and if space is ever a problem, then the EM111 is only 1 DIN wide and 2 DIN wide for the 100A EM112.
All Carlo Gavazzi energy meters provide optimal performance in industries such as conventional energy, building automation, HVAC and sub metering applications such as shopping malls, public buildings, commercial buildings, light and medium industries, lift and elevators and agricultural applications.
