Building automation in relation to the 2022 building regulations revision

Thursday 13th October 15:10 - 16:00

UK Building regulations were updated on June 15th this year. This was a direct route to tackle climate change and reduce energy use.
What implications do these changes have for building design? The new Part O may mean less glazing, smaller windows or maybe even the end of those fabulous floor to ceiling South facing glazed walls?
But building automation can offer the "alternative approaches" as laid out in in the regulations that allow architects, designers and consultants fulfil their clients' desires for those glazed facades. Dynamic shading, integrated HVAC and constant lighting control can be simply achieved.
This level of building automation is an exciting opportunity for the integrator. Find out what you need to know to make it happen?
