Jonathan is an expert in sustainable real estate, building performance and technologies, carbon reduction strategies and climate change mitigation with 15 years of experience in the sector.
Following a masters in Civil and Architectural engineering studied at University of Bath, he joined at Schneider Electric as a project developer on holistic multi-million pound energy performance contracts for large scale public estates.
At Carbon Trust, he is primarily engaged with delivering energy efficiency, carbon reduction and broader sustainability ambitions for a joint venture commercial peroperty fund. Key projects have included the development of the fund’s Net Zero Commitment, net zero asset acquisition assessments and developing the specifications for the recent asset refurbishments.
Jonathan acts as a consultant for other Carbon Trust teams on real estate and technical building projects, notably on transformational lending frameworks and green bond frameworks. His expertise is also applied as Carbon Trust’s Head of Environment and is responsible for the sustainable performance of the organisation, the accredited ISO management system and delivering on long term emissions reduction targets.
